The classifier works based on centrifugal force, airflow, and gravity. Ground material (fine and coarse) is lifted by the airflow generated by main fan. Inside the classifier, a rotating cage or blades create a controlled centrifugal force. Fine particles are light and are carried upward by the airflow. Adjustable rotor speed allows for finer or coarser products as needed. Coarse particles are heavier and cannot overcome the centrifugal force, so they fall back to the grinding table for further processing. The correctly sized fine particles pass through the classifier blades and exit the mill, usually to a cyclone or bag filter for final collection. More efficient and widely used in modern VRMs.
